AIP Originators

Airways Corporation of New Zealand Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise established under the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1987. Airways provides services on a commercial basis under that Act and is also authorised by Section 99 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and under Part 172 of the Civil Aviation Rules to provide the airways services covered by these Standard Terms.

AIP, SUPP or NOTAM ?

The first stage is determine whether this has to be submitted through the Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) system or not.

As you can see from the flow chart, anything which concerns Airspace should initially be submitted to the CAA.

In a similar manner any new Aviation facility (aerodrome, heliport etc.) should also be submitted to the CAA.

Finally in this stage check that you actually are an Authorised Originator with the required authorisations.
